At the end of this lesson you should be able to:

• calculate the equivalent resistance of a group of resistors in various series/parallel combinations.
• to calculate the current in portions of a circuit.
• apply Kirchoff's rules to solve multiloop circuits, i.e. determine the currents and potential differences between any tow points in a circuit.
• calculate the charging and discharging current and residual charge on a capacitor in an RC circuit.
• construct and understand the electrical intruments: voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter.
