At the end of this lesson you should :
- Be able to define the term, electric current, in terms of rate of flow of charge and its corresponding measure the ampere.
- Be able to calculate the drift velocity and quantity of charge passing a point in a given time interval.
- Be able to determine the resistance of a conductor using Ohm's law and be able to distinguish between ohmic and nonohmic materials.
- Be able to make calculations of the variation of resistance with temperature.
- Be able to use Joule's law to calculate thge power dissipated in a resistor.
